This Privacy Policy describes how Patriot Web Builders ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information submitted through patriotwebbuilders.com, including the "Start a Project" and "Support" forms. We don't have user accounts on this site. We may use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and two pages — our advertising landing page and the Start a Project form — may carry ad conversion tags from Google, Meta and Reddit (see Cookies & Tracking below). Beyond that, the only data we collect is what you choose to send us.
Information We Collect
We collect information only when you submit it directly to us:
- Start a Project form: your name, business name, business type, email address, and phone number.
- Support form: name, email address, the site your question relates to (optional), and your message.
We also automatically log standard web-server data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and abuse prevention, in line with our hosting provider's infrastructure logging — we don't use this data for tracking or profiling.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry or support request
- To keep a record of our conversation with you or your business
- To detect and prevent spam or abusive submissions (a hidden honeypot field on both forms filters automated bot submissions before anything is sent)
We do not share the contents of your submission with advertisers, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone. The ad conversion tags described below only record that a form was sent, never what it said.
Where Your Information Is Stored
Form submissions are not stored in a database. Each one is delivered, by email via Gmail SMTP, straight to our own inbox, where it lives like any other correspondence. This site is hosted on Cloudflare.
Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run this site and process submissions on our behalf. We don't share your information beyond what's needed for them to provide that infrastructure:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, DNS, and the network that delivers the site to your browser. The forms may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that looks at your browser and connection to tell people from scripts; most visitors never see it.
- Google Workspace / Gmail: delivers the email copy of each submission to our inbox.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics): usage statistics for every page, as described under Cookies & Tracking.
- Google LLC (Google Ads), Meta Platforms, Inc. and Reddit, Inc.: ad conversion measurement on the two pages described under Cookies & Tracking.
Cookies & Tracking
Analytics. Pages on patriotwebbuilders.com may use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that give your browser a random identifier, and sends Google a record of the pages you view, the links you click, how you arrived (a search, an ad, a link from another site), and your approximate location, browser and device. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. We use this to see which pages and campaigns bring people to us and where they lose interest. It never receives what you type into a form. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking the tag with a content blocker or your browser's tracking protection; the site works the same either way.
Advertising. We run advertising, and two pages may carry ad conversion tags: the landing page our ads point to (/trade) and the Start a Project form. On those pages, the Google Ads tag, the Meta pixel and the Reddit pixel may set cookies and send Google, Meta and Reddit a record that the page was viewed and, when you submit the form, that a submission happened. This lets us see which ads lead to inquiries. When you submit the form we may also report that one fact to Reddit from our server, with the time, your IP address, your browser type and the Reddit pixel's own identifiers, so the submission still counts if your browser blocked the pixel. The tags never receive the contents of your submission — not your name, email, phone number or anything you wrote. No other page on this site sets advertising cookies. These tags can be blocked the same way as the analytics tag, without affecting the site.
Campaign tags. When you arrive from an ad, the link may carry campaign labels (the utm_ parameters in the address). Your browser keeps those labels for the rest of your visit, in session storage that is cleared when the tab closes, and includes them if you submit the Start a Project form, so we know which ad the inquiry came from. They are never sent anywhere else and say nothing about you personally.
Data Retention
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and, for clients, to maintain a record of the working relationship. You can request deletion at any time — see below.
Your Rights & Choices
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@patriotwebbuilders.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
